The owner was funding the company entirely out of pocket. The problem was never revenue — it was payment timing.
Before: cash flow was 100% negative and funded from the owner's pocket, clients paid after 60–90 days, suppliers demanded immediate payment, and there was zero surplus — every riyal went straight back out.
The problem was never revenue. It was payment timing.
A team of three worked it: a CPA/MBA head of accounts, a finance manager, and a financial analyst. We gathered the full contracts, actual payment dates, and supplier invoices, and found a negative 30–60 day gap.
We tested five payment scenarios; the best was 30% upfront + 40% on delivery + 30% after a month. Contracts were amended, suppliers renegotiated, and a reserve opened. We built a daily cash-flow forecast against plan with a 90-day outlook, improved collection, and opened a bank line of credit.
The result: three new projects adding SAR 450K in profit.
